All-in-one ABA practice management review

WebABA Review

An ABA practice management platform under the Therapy Brands portfolio, with integrated EHR, billing, and clinical workflows.

What WebABA does

WebABA is an ABA practice management platform sold by Therapy Brands, a behavioral-health software portfolio company that owns several practice management products across mental health, occupational therapy, speech, and ABA. The product covers the full ABA workflow surface — clinical data collection, scheduling, EHR-style charting, and billing — with a particular strength in the EHR and revenue cycle layers given the parent company's multi-discipline experience.

The platform is HIPAA-eligible with a Business Associate Agreement, supports clearinghouse integrations (Office Ally, Availity), and includes eligibility checking and ERA processing as part of the core product.

Who it's for

WebABA's clearest fit is the mid-size ABA agency (10–50 providers) that values vendor scale and clearinghouse depth. Agencies that prefer working with a larger, more established software vendor than a focused ABA startup tend to default to Therapy Brands' portfolio. The EHR layer is also a draw for agencies that want clinical-record functionality beyond the ABA-specific minimum.

Smaller solo or 1–5 provider clinics typically find the platform heavier than they need. The sales motion, contract structure, and implementation timeline all assume a real operation.

What stands out

Therapy Brands' multi-discipline portfolio is the standout. Because the parent company sells software to mental health, OT, speech, and ABA providers, WebABA inherits clearinghouse relationships, payer integrations, and billing infrastructure that a single-discipline ABA startup would have to build from scratch. For agencies with complex payer mixes, that depth shows up in fewer billing surprises.

The EHR layer is also more developed than what most ABA-only platforms offer. Agencies that want signed clinical documentation, audit trails, and structured charting alongside their data collection workflows find WebABA's chart layer more mature than peers.

Where it falls short

The biggest operator gripe is that WebABA can feel less ABA-specific than dedicated platforms. Therapy Brands sells to a broad behavioral-health audience, and product direction reflects that. ABA-specific features — custom program builder, advanced graphing, treatment-integrity workflows — are present but less deep than what Motivity or Hi Rasmus offer.

The UI is functional rather than modern. Newer BCBAs coming from a Theralytics or Hi Rasmus shop often describe WebABA as feeling dated.

The sales process is portfolio-driven, which means evaluation calls cover Therapy Brands' broader product line. Some operators appreciate that one-stop motion; others find it slower than working directly with a focused ABA vendor.

Pricing

WebABA pricing is not publicly listed. Therapy Brands quotes per-provider with annual contracts. Implementation is typically a separate line item. Confirm current pricing, what is included in the base plan, and contract auto-renewal terms directly with sales before signing.
