Which families count toward my bill?
Any client record that exists un-archived at any point in a billing month counts for that month. Marketing says "families"; your invoice says "client records" and lists each one by name. No proration, no meters — a smaller month simply costs less.
What happens to old or closed families?
Archive them. Archived records are hidden and free, forever. Old families can be imported straight into the archive and never bill until you open them. If a family comes back, restore the record in one click — it simply counts for that month.
Why do you ask for a card if it's free?
So starting is one step. Your card is never charged while you serve 3 or fewer families — the first charge happens only when a 4th client record is open during a billing month. That's also why every button on this site says so.
What if I cancel?
Leave whenever you want — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Your full data export is yours anytime, whether you stay, cancel, or use the guarantee.
