ABA data collection software review

BIPTrack Review

An ABA data collection platform with a particular focus on behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and treatment integrity tracking.

What BIPTrack does

BIPTrack is an ABA data collection platform with a specific orientation: behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and treatment integrity. Where general ABA data tools cover skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and behavior tracking with roughly equal weight, BIPTrack treats BIP implementation as the central workflow and shapes the rest of the product around it.

The platform supports session data capture, BIP fidelity scoring, ABC narrative recording, and basic graphing. It is HIPAA-eligible with a Business Associate Agreement available. The session interface is mobile-first, designed for RBTs working in homes and schools rather than in front of a desktop.

Who it's for

BIPTrack lands cleanly at school-based ABA providers and in-home agencies where behavior intervention is the primary clinical workload. School ABA programs in particular tend to value the BIP fidelity scoring because it maps directly to IEP goals and the documentation that special-education teams expect.

It is also a defensible choice for solo BCBAs with smaller caseloads who want a focused, lightweight tool rather than the full Catalyst or Motivity feature surface. Agencies running heavy skill-acquisition curricula across many learners typically outgrow BIPTrack and move to a broader clinical platform.

What stands out

The BIP-first orientation is the standout. Treatment integrity scoring — which captures whether the technician implemented the BIP as written — is built into the session workflow rather than added as an afterthought. For agencies where BIP fidelity is a clinical or contractual requirement, that focus matters.

The mobile session interface is also more thoughtful than many peers. RBTs working in real session conditions consistently report that BIPTrack is quick to use during a session, which translates directly to better data quality. A clunky data tool at session time means data gets entered later from memory, which means worse data.

Where it falls short

The narrower scope is the trade-off. Where Catalyst and Motivity cover skill acquisition, behavior tracking, and program management with equal depth, BIPTrack is more focused. Skill-acquisition curriculum tools are functional but lighter than what dedicated clinical platforms offer.

BIPTrack is also not a full all-in-one. Billing, intake, parent portal, credentialing — all live in other tools. Agencies wanting a single workspace should look elsewhere.

The smaller user base means thinner training resources and a smaller pool of admin and clinical hires already familiar with the platform.

Pricing

BIPTrack uses per-clinician subscription pricing. Sticker prices are not always publicly listed; confirm current rates and what each tier includes directly with the vendor before signing.
